Ubi caritas et amor, Deus ibi est.

Congregavit nos in unum Christi amor.

Exultemus, et in ipso iucundemur.

Timeamus, et amemus Deus vivum.

Et ex corde diligamus nos sincero.

 

Ubi caritas et amor, Deus ibi est.

Simul ergo cum in unum congregamur

Ne nos mente dividamur, caveamus.

Cessent iurgia maligna, cessent lites,

Et in medio nostri sit Christus Deus.

 

Where charity and love are found, there God is.

The love of Christ has gathered us as one.

Let us rejoice and take delight in Him.

Let us fear and love the living God.

And love each other from the depths of our hearts.

 

Where charity and love are found, there God is.

Therefore, when we are together

Let us take heed not to be divided in mind.

Let there be an end to evil impulses, and end to strife

And in our midst be Christ our God.
