Resurrection Prelude

For SATB choir, Organ, 4 horns, 3 trombones, Bass trombone and Timpani. Duration: 2:00

The piece gets its title from both its intended application: a grand prelude to an Easter morning service, and to the fact that it embeds references to two famous works that deal with the subject of resurrection: Strauss' Death and Transfiguration, and Mahler's Resurrection Symphony (no. 2).
